Thank you!

Just wanted to say thank you to all the modders and the community for turning a mediocre release into a wonderful experience (bought SH5 the day it came out and left it rotting in the shelf until I picked it up recently).

Well, why now Tenebrae?

Dunno, was just sitting around contemplating the sights in outside view (yeah, I know outside view...geesh) waiting for an hydro sweep to end when it struck me...this is what SH5 could have been all along...and it's this good now 'coz of everyone's work. So yeah, tanks again, here's my two thumbs up!

Here's the screenie I took the moment it struck me to see if I can inspire any more epiphanies.

Same here, without talented modders here and elsewhere, SH5 would have been one of the worst u-boat sim ever made (by UBI...).

Yes, kudos to the modders! Without them, SH3, SH4, and SH5 would have all been dreck! The modders made these games worth playing. I bought SH4 'cause I loved old SH, but it sat in a drawer for two years until I found out about the mods. I only bought SH3 and SH5 because of the mods. I'd bet Ubisoft makes quite a few sales because of these guys.

+1

I took a break and recently reinstalled SH5. Since Steam forced me to install the "U-Play" launcher, I had some problems with my mod soup. I needed to free up space on my SSD anyway, so I did a clean reinstall on my regular hard drive. I'm loving the updated mods.

THANK YOU to the modders for making the mods and continuing to support them. SH5 is a completely different and better experience with mods.
