US to allow Saudi travellers to bypass customs inspections

You have to wonder what they are thinking when they do this stuff.

on the under-the-radar announcement -- which was first made by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano after meeting in January with her Saudi counterpart. According to the IPT, this would be the first time the Saudi government has been given such a direct role in fast-tracking people for entry into the United States.

I think it's safe to say, after 911, a 3" knife isn't going to stop the bum rush of pissed off passengers. Before people just sit quiet and hoped the hijackers were just in it for money or publicity etc...but now, i think the psyche is far more kill or be killed or so to speak.
