Default Google Glass(es) anyone?

!

Would you wear them? I think they'd be okay for a gimmic but not for anything more thoughtful, or maybe I'm wrong.

Since childhood I've always wanted a pair of those that claim to be able to see through clothes

Back OT though, this is only a matter of time, in fact I'm surprised they haven't already been manufactured, surely it's all down to miniaturisation of component parts.

Cool, but can't someone else make them. I'm not all that crazy about Google and what they do.

I think these are great for vacation or a day at the amusement park video taking. More or less a toy.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with everybody else, although I don't have a problem with Google. The concept does look really cool, and I would want to buy a pair, but I think that the novelty of having things pop up in my face when I am walking along would get old pretty fast. They will likely use advertising to offset the cost of the increased network use, so I can see it come to a point that a McDonalds ad pop up every time I am within a few blocks of one of their locations. Imagine that when you are driving.

That driving point is an excellent one Tak...I should imagine they would incorporate a disabler switch for just such an occasion.

I'd like to think that they wouldn't be worn whist driving. Ever.
