Default Mega mods alternatives

As we know, there is one super mods combination called: Sober's mega mod. Unfortunatelly, it requires a PC more powerfull than the mainframe.

On the other hand we have MMMv05 which is going to be out of date because of the developer decision.

Is there anything under production with lower hardware requirements than Sober's mod ?

sober's mega mod is compiled around the same base as MMM - the TDW's UI.
It also can be reduced, in order ro cut down on the spec requirement (replacing OH II Full with lower GPU req will be one of the major steps in that direction).

As for anyone's working on a mega mod with a lower spec requirement: I really doubt. It seems to me that with so many things still yet uncovered (TDW GR2 Editor and .exe patcher came a long way, but lots still to be done and functions are added left, right and center if you check the threads). Not to mention that all the major mods (weather mods, graphic mods, OH II even, and many many others) are constantly going to through tweaking or (atm) work in progress on newer versions.

For me - I have been running sober's list with some changes for a while and very happy with it. Yes, I can't run all of it - you do need a much higher end GPU - i mean I have a decent one HD5970, but you need really something better to keep up with some of the graphic loadout - plus I probably should finally upgrade to 8GB at least, but besides those little things and with certain care - works great for me.

The case is that it is not easy to cut some mega mods list like Sober's one. Some mods don't run properly without others etc and then you simply go depressed about all of this, trying to figure it out. The case is not so difficult to go throught but very time consuming. Too much for me and I think for many other players.
I really missed the time of SH3 when GWX3 rulled and that was much easier.

In SH5 world, we have situation that everything is created as a kind of standalone versions (how I fell only). I have the feeling that moders do not communicate to each others.

Why they do not create one common mod, being still updated in two versions: high hardware dedicated and lower hardware dedicated. And, what could be the major factor: one simply installation executable process.
This path could even help in online games because of the common version of the mod.

I don't think that this is the problem of cooperation/communication.. the main reason is that many mods are in the process - "work in progress"..

This is the main reason. Any Mega Mod is rapidly aging and in need of revision.

Unfortunately I have a low specs PC - QuadCore 2.4 GHz, WinXPSP3, 2Gb RAM, GT430 1Gb

I'm currently working on English version of my Mod Pack.. it will be released in 7-10 days.. what mods are currently included in my pack you can see in the link in my signature.. plus some other mods will be included in the new/English version..
