Default [REL] A little X-MAS Pressie: Super Turms v7 Taster

New Version 2:.

Note: Shift+F or Shift+D / Ctrl+F or Ctrl+D now raises/lowers the flag and puts/removes the crew on deck simultaneously. This seemed like the best compromise as I'm assuming that folks don't sail around on patrol with the crew on deck and/or flag flying.

Assuming that you have SuperTurms v6 and its pre-requisite mods such as Anvart's flags/pennant/df antenna and Flakmonkey's Interiors installed then the commands are as follows:

Shift+A/Ctrl+A = raises/lowers radio antenna
Shift+F or Shift+D/Ctrl+F or Ctrl+D) = crew on deck and flag.
Shift+H/Ctrl+H = open/close hatches
Shift+V/Ctrl+V = fits/removes DF antenna.
Shift+N/Ctrl+N = fits/removes the UZO (Type 7c1 only at present)
Shift+O/Ctrl+O = raises/lowers Obs. Periscope.

Files now inlcudes for the added torpedo in tubes.

Hi Folks,

As Promised.

It is not rocket science as the saying goes but it'll give you a few new things to try out over Christmas. I'll work on the new version more after Christmas:

Readme:

Aces Super Turms v7 Taster Readme.txt

Welcome,

This small beta update for my Super Turms v6 mod previews some new features to be released in Super Turms v7.

The mod should be installed AFTER Super Turms v6 and also includes two updated versions of optional add-on mods first released Super Turms v6.

Additions to Super Turms v6:

1. Most U-boat types (type II, type 7 nd Type 9) now have torpedos in the tubes which are visible when the outer tube doors are open as per the Ccom Mod.

2. Fixed crew on deck positioning problem with type 2 u-boats.

3. The type 7c u-boat has a removable UZO which can be mounted/un-mounted using the SHIFT+N/CTRL+N combination and I have updated the English, French and German commands.cfg files supplied with
Super Turms v6.

4. Added chalk board to type 9 control room interior.

Optional Mods (these mods should be installed AFTER Super Turms v6 and Aces Super Turms v7 Taster:

1. Updated version of my Aces' Repositioned 105 mm Gun on Types 9b and 9c plus New Type 9b Deck Railings mod with fixed missing topedo hatch and anchor as well as adding the torpedos in the tubes.

2. Updated version of my Aces' Super Turms v6 Damo's Type 7 Atmospheric Interior lighting add-on which now includes added chalk board in the type 7 control room interior, ressurrects my steaming cooking pot in the galley for use with the Ccom torpedo room mod and also fixes the camera out of sectors bug when using Super Turms with the Ccom torpedo room mod. Note: best used if you also use the Ccom Torpedo Room Mod.

---

Credits:

Many thanks to Testpilot for his kind permission to use his removable UZO code.

----

Kind regards and Happy Christmas and New Year

Cheers

Aces

Just one small problermo, I keep trying to save the mediafile link to my xmas stocking, but I keep getting a data file corruption error ??? Do you think it is because my stockings are fishnets and I'm getting a dropout throught the holes ?

Anywho if Santa don't give you a bloody good pressie this year I'll personally punch the bugger on the nose.

Much appreciation.

Awesome gift Aces, many thanks and Merry Christmas!

Only a question: is it compatible with MaGUI commands? (WS or normal screen)

Best regards.

OOPS! humble apologies about that I thought I'd got all the files, so much to do yesterday. I'm re-compressing now and will re-ujpload shortly. I'll change my first post with tyhe new download links and update it ASAP.

Blame it on another middle age "senior moment"

Cheers

Aces

Edit , and yes, this version will have MaGUI widescreen and non-widescreen compatability add-on mods

Aces, why you use the MaGui mod (version 3.4) instead of the the MaGui mod (Final Version)?

I think MaGUI 3.4 is a Standard, with the version Widescreen. MaGUI F haven´t a version for WS.

Regards.
