CTD After Windows Update.

Iam Now getting random CTD in game after updating my Windows 7 64-bit via Windows Update.. Iam so confused now is it has something to do with NET Framework or Visual C++ or XNA Framework i have no idea

Thanks gap but i dont have exact version that is mentioned here, but i have Microsoft Visual C++2005 , 2008 , 2010 i deleted the 2008 version, still have random CTD

after i leave Kiel and travel some way..

Damn before windows update worked without any CTD, why microsoft cursed me?!

Try to remove Visual C++2010 also.. sometimes it helps..

recently Microsoft has released a bunch of security updates for NET framework. You can try and see if uninstalling the latest updates solves your problem.

Notice that doing it could expose your system to several risks, so you should disable them one by one, and eventually restore the ones that aren't affecting SH5.

maybe by changing system's memory allocation

You should also consider the chance that the fact that your problems started after windows update could be a mere cohincidence. Are you sure that your campaign wasn't messed up by something else? Have you tried starting a whole new campaign? Sometimes updating mod soup in middle campaign can screw it up...

Sorry to hear about your woes. Friggin' MS updates... If the OS didn't have more holes than Swiss cheese, I'd turn it off and be done with it.

As suggested earlier, I'd try rolling the latest updates back to see if that corrects the situation. Good luck!

For me it helped to clean up the registry. I use different programs for this job to be done, But Tune-UP Utilities is a safe and good way to do it.

You never know, it might help you
