I didn't like it, but I seem to be in the minority on that. Part of my problem is that back in the early 1960s I read a novel with a similar plot, but aboard a British submarine. I don't remember it going the same way, but the basic idea was there. Unfortunately I can't remember the title and though I've tried to look it up every way I can think of I've had no luck so far.

I bought Prometheus on the same day. That was 10$ and Crimson Tide was cheaper so they knocked it down to a dollar. I always go to Hastings for movies, music, and books.
