Try going to an older set of graphics drivers if you're running the newest ones for it. And get them directly from NVidia too.

I'm desperate. In Poland, I do not have to give the card to the shop just as you are buying over the internet 10 days.

V, like was said it's a driver issue. Get on NVidia and start with the 296.10 drivers and work up from there. Don't go to Asus and get them, they might not be the correct drivers. NVidia is the only place to get the correct ones. And it's not always a good idea to get the newest drivers out, as they sometimes have and can cause problems. I've been thru that myself.

Check Options for the graphics card to see if Antiailising being used by SH5? IF the slider is moved off of 0, reset back to 0. All they way to the left. Maybe try lowering the resolution and see what happens.
I'm wondering too if it's the graphics card itself. I haven't seen anything like what you're showing with any drivers up to and including 296.10. Tho I did have an old GF 5900 card that did the same thing in an older computer a few years ago. The card was no longer any good. I was lucky tho and it was replaced under warranty. Do you have another GFX card to try and see if it does the same thing? Other than those ideas I have no idea what's causing it.

@voltar
I'm also experiencing the artifacts and I think I can shed some light on the subject based on my observations. Note that the artifacts always appear at the center of the screen and always when you're rotating the camera. I believe that the cursor, which is invisible when you rotate the camera (that little hand which appears when you point at a clickable character) is the cause. When you move the cursor on the screen without rotating the camera, nothing happens. The artifacts appear only when looking directly up (like 90 deg.) or when looking at the horizon (when the cursor is invisible, meaning when you rotate the camera). Now if we can find a way to somehow remove the "hand" cursor from the camera rotating mode, i believe we could get rid of the problem. |
