Default A way to turn off Your boats "icon" on Map?

Hello all. So I have "God's Eye" view disabled in the Realism settings, but I still see real-time updates on my Nav Map for my boat (it's the black spot with a circle around it pointing the direction your boat is facing).
Is there a way to take it even further by switching this icon off so all you can really see are just the B-dienst intercepts (the red/blue/green icons that don't move, just stay in the spot of initial intercept)?
All of the tools for proper navigation are in the game: you have the sun rising/setting, you have a protractor, compass, marker, ruler. The way these are implemented is really nice and can make for a really looong patrol lol. If the player is forced to actually manually "mark" where his boat is on the nav map that could be going overboard, but I'd like that option.
Thanks all.
Edit: I realize your Navigator is the one who is "doing" the real-time updates, but it would be just like turning the Weapons Officer "off" when it comes to aiming torpedoes.

It seems to me that you need real navigation mod... look in the download section.
