add: Hotmenandre, Do you know if there is a way to get high-resolution images from the 659-schematics at www.deepstorm.ru? there is a very good cut-away schematic which would solve most of my problems,but it`s !DAMN! low-res .either way, i better get going reshapeing the conning-bridge( i had it all done, with texture and AO map...well well well. ps based upon your data , whiskey will have a very detailed conning and hull... nice little subs, shame to let most of them just rust away...

Yes, in Russia a lot of boats rusting and waiting for his sad fate. A project of 659 most rare it practically does not exist, I have asked around on forums about the submarines.

yes, a bad thing! hopefully, K-3 will be opened for visitors in st.peterburg

my problem is, that there aren`t any shots showing the top of the conning tower with the mast arangement. my design of the bridge is speculative.thanks to your pictures, i figured out there is a small windshield on the forward end of the fairwater and i now can guess where the deck hatches, the emergency buoy`s and the lifting racks are located. the schematic i mentioned would be great to have in high-res, for it even shows the arrangement of the sail skeleton!

besides, do you have some pictures showing the interior of the Whiskey´s conning? best regards JH!
