Default crash dive 'Das Boot' Sounds?

hi all!

im currently running GWX 3.0 with the thompson 3.2 sound pack which im loving atm but ive seen various mods on youtube where they have crashdived with the sounds from das boot, the scream of alarm and the bell! does anyone know where i could get these sounds from

I think you'll find that those sounds are included in GWX as standard. Perhaps the sound mod you are using has changed that in some way.

Yea it comes with GWX. I love crash diving because of the sound!

really? i never had it before i installed that mod tho? i really want them sounds as loved that scene in das boot and id probably just crash dive for the hell of it lol

GWX stole that from my DBSM mod. I stole the whole DBSM mod, which was originally made for SH2.

For the complete Das Boot experience you need DBSM.

thanks!! will this work with the thompson soundpack or will i have to uninstall that? i rather like the underwater creaks that the thompson pack adds or does this one add them too?

The one will overwrite the other. They won't actually conflict and cause problems, but you will lose the sounds from whichever was first. What you can do is use your computer's Sound Recorder or a sound device such as www.goldwave.com to listen to each and see which you like best. If you install DBSM but like Thomsen's Creaks better you can re-install the individual files on top of the other ones. You can do this by inserting them yourself or you can make a JSGME-compatible folder by putting the creaks into a folder and that one into another until you have something like 'Thomsen's Creaks/Data/Sound'. Then you can use JSGME to install that last.
