Manual Targetting Tutorial @ 100% Realism!

Hey guys,

I have started a new youtube channel, to go along side my new SH group! gonna be a few tutorials going up! Got part 1 of the manual targetting tutorial uploaded and the second is abot 70% uploaded! will say sorry for the neatness of my discriptions it isnt the best, i will more than likely redo tese tutorials in the future!

Hi there

nice to see more video tutorials on tube

I like the style of attacking right from the middle of the convoy,
that's what the most succesful Uboat aces did and it's pretty much why they were the aces to begin with: you get a good chance to hit 5 ships in one attack.
usually you'll sink a few and cripple a few others, which you can then finish off later.

if you do it by day though, make sure the periscope stays down as much as possible, i was surprised it took them as long as it did to see your scope
and take evasive action

Thank you for the kind words, i did mention that i had it fully up for tutorial purposes and there were no escorts!

Nice tutorial, with a good example of sub ramming by a cargo at the end of part II
The most difficult thing to do when attacking a convoy (after slipping through escorts of course) is to select targets so torpedoes will hit each ship in a window of time so narrow that no evasive manoeuvres can save them...
map contact update is an absolute realism-killer for me and all my manual targeting is made only through the periscop but that is just another story...

...im really enjoying these tutorials Jonny. thanks for putting them together. im playing at about 70% + i would love to do this manually but my brain lags terribly with this sort of thing - dont know why. but now i feel inspired to give it another crack.

did you have your eels set at slow+magnetic on purpose - even for side impact?

and can these tutorials be downloaded - im going to need many viewings to get it right - cheers, nice job

I would be intrested if you had steam, could you add me and do a few tutorials for the Youtube channel!
