Crew interface/morale ect

Kaluens,
Is there a thread somewhere that really explains in detail the crew morale page.
There are several icons that I have no idea what they do or how to use them. One is the small black arrow box right below the persons picture. When I mouse over it, it gives a efficiancy type number ex: 35/100. Most of my upper officers like the chief and exec are at 0/100 which just doesn't seem to be correct.
Sometimes a plus sign will appear in the picture box of the crew member, if I click on it, it disappears. Stuff like this, anyway. The manuel doesn't say anything in detail.

I beg to differ. It's chock full of crew biographies and screenshots of the TAI!
