Default RE:How to Add docs and ships

I can only refer you to http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=192176 in hopes that this will help you to understand a little bit more about the mission editor. I'm afraid I'm limited in the use of it!
You might also PM Mr. Peabody and respectfully ask for his guidance in this area! Good Luck Indy

Seaplate Hitman,

I did a complete explaination for adding a base and docks in New London here:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=191643

I did it as a MOD in case of a mess up. To place the ships, which I didn't do, you drag and drop a ship, put it close to where you want it docked, drag out a waypoint that is lined up with the slip, head to waypoint on the ship, adjust as needed to get it lined up perfectly. You can set the ship to docked or not. Docked it stays put, if you don't select docked two things can happen:
1. It may move.
2. If attacked it WILL move and if it is a DD for example, it WILL attack.

I did explain how to do it with the sub as a starting point for a Campaign, so it is the same idea for a ship.

One note on the tutorial, it was with Lurker's RSRDC files which he hand edited so the dates would be right. So there is a section to save it in a temp file and hand copy the correct lines and paste them into the proper file ("US_NavalBases.mis). You may or may not have to do that step depending on what you are doing. The mission editor WILL change the entries for all bases in that file by adding two lines that Lurker deleted. (At least if my memory is right it was Lurker)
