[WIP] GUNDAM SEED MOD
WELCOME TO THE GUNDAM SEED MOD FOR SHIV
This mod will add two very different ships to the game as playable units. They will provide an interesting change for any captain wanting to take charge of a ship that really can pack a punch. But be warned, your not the only one to have such as vessel as I'm also adding one to the Japanese side also. if you are to meet one of these ships in combat please don't waist any time in getting in the first round of hits, for your enemy will surely be a difficult challenge. The first ship to be added is the LHM-BB01 MINERVA, Since it was designed as a battleship, the Minerva is heavily armed. Its weaponry includes heavy deck guns and a compliment of CIWS guns. Boasting: 350 meters of ship!! Ablative Armour 2 x XM47 "Tristan" dual heavy deck gun M10 "Isolde" 42cm triple deck gun 12 x 40mm CIWS Here she is... ![]() The main model has been finished, I'm just working on getting it to go into S3D. So far I get this error Message: ![]() ![]() P.S Can one of the Forum leaders delete my other topics please!

These are the main guns
First up we have the XM47 Tristan dual cannons
![]() Now for the Main deck gun, the M10 Isolde turret. ![]() And now for the CIWS for those pesky planes. ![]() All three of these weapons will have an animation but that comes later. *UPDATE* ![]() On the above image, the last part it doesn't show is the actual turret lowers itself. ![]() Above is the Tristans ![]() Above is the CIWS The pictures above give a brief example of what the animations will be like!

ERROR
Now does anyone know why my model won't go into S3D, I choose Import, select my model, press ok and then it give me the Error seen in the first post.
What does it mean and how do I sort it out. Also how do you make a file that contains the .cam .dat .dsd .sim .val .zon? there for allowing me to start trying to sort it all out! Any help on this would be appreciated, I'm looking to you long time modders!

Could you possibly convert those pictures to .jpg? The .pngs are very slow to load, and take up a lot of bandwidth.

That's all I get! Change your picture format......Not here's why your model wont go in lol.
tut tut. never mind lol, converted them so it should be OK now right? And do you know anything about the error I'm getting?

I've tried to do it that way the model works according to Karl94 who has tested it and it does it fine for him lol.
Might be just the options I'm choosing, will ask him when he gets back to me lol

Update
Nice Little Update For You Guys
With help from a good friend of mine Karl94, the model is in game. she moves and turns stops and starts! We are only partly way through completion having to do textures which Karl94 is so greatly handling. We have also to do her weapons. We have a few question to long time modders and new modders alike, We need people experienced in the following. Animations!!!! We have weapons that are meant to have animations on them, but due to our lack of knowledge in the matter. We come to you fellow Captains of the deep blue seas. Anyone willing to help, please leave a comment saying so! We trying to make her fly not high. but above the water she will be. Karl94 has expressed his opinion that it may not be possible due to propellers needing to be under water. So I came up with a crazy idea and was wondering on how best to complete it and set sail on a test. Is it possible to edit the ship to fly or hover or float above the waters surface, while keeping the propellers below the waves as to keep the ship moving. And if so how. Second of all a few questions. 1.How do we Add a lean so when the ship turns left/ right she leans a certain degree? 2.I want to increase the speed of this ship. Karl94 said it's hard coded but I was wondering if it's at all doable and if so how?

.sim file. got it. now how would I do the height just raise the model in the preview section??

Update
Here is the second ship to be added not only to the US side, But the Japanese also, Though only an AI for now. She will prove to be a challenging opponent!
I present the Archangel. ![]() My hope is that she will be able to stand up to the first ship we're currently testing. So much as to even threaten destruction. I'm working on getting working missiles on both but I've yet to try to implement it. With this second ship I hope you find a challenge as there is still more to come. Until the next update fellow captains!!
