Hello,

exist a mod for SHIII/GWX for VIIC´s conning tower with enhanced armour?

most likely NO..

but if you're interested there is a schelltauchback mod that should give you ability for faster diving if you have bigger boat like IX type..

It does change the shape of the u-boat with that mod.

There's a typo in PK's post - the mod is called 'Schnelltauchback' -> Fast Diving Foredeck

Don't you mean the "VIIC41 Player Sub"-mod that comes as an optional mod with the GWX installation?

edit: Oh, you meant a different Turm-model, not the VII/41 - sorry.

Thanks PapaKilo, I know this mod, but I´am inrested only on mod for my lovely U-Boat type VII with this conning tower with enhanced armour. Pity that this mode does not exist.

Hello all, will supply more photos soon. The main thing is if it is possible to adjust conning tower damage model. These Panzer-turms should result in less damage by aircraft MG fire.

Looking at the VIIC Turms in GWX the VIIC_4 Turm has the needed armor boxes.

Those can be cut away from that Turm and used as the stand alone Upgrade part.

This is a stock Turm and not a mod by anyone is it not?

Looking at the 3D Models again I think I'll adjust the VIIC_4 Turm by cutting off the front platform.

It will have the interior of the Turm correct that way, the damage model will be proper, and so on and so forth.

Probably be easier to do the addition as an upgrade also?


I'll still make the boxes only parts available as 3D models should anyone want to play with them.
