I bought Battlefield Vietnam for my new windows 7 laptop.

The game runs, but, it lags when I walk, fly, sail around. Any way how to fix this?

I was going to ask for specs, but your laptop must have enough for Vietnam to be running Win7!

Usual suspects, installed outside of Program Files. Installed and run as admin. Patched. Latest drivers, inc. DirectX.

I'll fiddle around wit it later

Battlefield 1942 runs perfect, but in Bf:V there's just enough noticable lag to be annoying. I have 4 installed games total. Installation said I didn't need to install directx. I ran the compatibility check and ran it as Vista and it still lags. The autorun says something about Geforce drivers. Is that it?
