Because of this it is a FAIL. Should be vice-versa. Optic glass can brake a light to trigger such effect, not a human eye.

Hi Testpilot,
you can have the effect vissible at your binos view by setting at viewport values 0,1,1,0

(generally, this work to all views not only at binos)

rom the realism POW a brown floater mod in the water would look more realistic than this one
I'm suscribed to your posts and read everything you write. Remember to be kind and think twice how to word what you say, some people are sensitive to certain agressive critizism. And that includes me.

Honestly, ..............................who cares if it's 100% real? These games aren't 100% real either. If you screw up in the game, you and your crew don't die a watery death.

I think it's a cool effect personally, even if you don't see it with the naked eye all the time. Paying attention to detail in the natural world, it does occur once in a while under the right conditions, but I don't make a habit of looking into the sun. Tends to hurt the eyes.

But the human eye does have a lens in it aside from the cornea, which can both cause a slight "lens flare" effect under the right conditions.

Cool little mod! Thanks for making it!

Realism is not the question now and here, the important thing is that a real effect has been added to the game. Now modders have a chance to add it wherever it is real and accurate - or they simply feel it is nice looking and worth it. That's the really important thing
