Default Blagojevich gets 14 years in prison.

Now if only we can give the rest of the crook politicians we have equal justice.

I guess Blaggy never worked for Goldman Sachs, then he would have gotten a bonus, and a job in the cabinet.

A few times in a prison shower is going to be enough

Yeah, there's no way that he's going to serve all 14 of those years. He absolutely should, but it's not going to happen.

And it won't be the same kind of prison "Tyrone the gang shooting, drive by killer" is in.

He will be in the pansy ward with Bernard Madoff, and all the other rich criminals.

I say put him in General Population. Then real justice can be served by the inmates.

How did they get 18 separate charges out of trying to sell just one seat?

Because he was convicted of more than that. The press keeps focusing only on that one charge but he was charged and convicted of

11 counts related to the senate seat and 6 counts related to fundraising extortion of a hospital executive. He was also convicted back in Aug 10 of one count of lying to federal agents.

If you want to read the actual indictment you can find it here. But beware, his indictment is 75 pages long!

http://news.lp.findlaw.com/hdocs/doc...ich409ind.html

Here is a list of the charges, but he was not convicted of all of them

Racketeering Count 1
Racketeering Conspiracy Count 2
Wire Fraud counts 3-13
Attempted Extortion Count 14
Attempted Extortion Count 15
Bribery Count 16
Extortion conspiracy Count 17
Bribery Conspiracy Count 18
Attempted Extortion count 19
Bribery Count 20
Extortion conspiracy Count 21
Attempted conspiracy Count 22
Bribery Conspiracy Count 23
False Statements Count 24

I admit to not understanding the US judicial system but why doesn't he have to go to prison until February 16th next year?

So are you going to visit him? Bring him some cookies?

Can you imagine Blago in with the general prison population?
"Nice hair."
