Default End Patrol

So I was wondering if it is possible to end your patrol without having to get ingame. The reason I asked this, is I just so happened to make nearly every save in that patrol near land, and when I load it up it CTD's. So is there anything I can do to either dock at that ship in spain by Gibraltar or have it put back into port not ingame, either that or a soultion to the CTD while about 100 k away from Gibraltar, or close to a convoy and or after sinking a ship.

Default

Does it crash if you try to load the "In Base, Before Mission" save?

EDIT: Nvm, stupid question. The point is to save the patrol, not erase it. ;-)

If you are using Commander, perhaps changing your status to In Base?
Not sure what effect that might have.

You could always try removing the Read Only flag on the contents of your SH3 folder, and reloading. I have had no "save game CTD" issues since I did so, and I deliberately save in some hairy situations just to test it.

That's all I got... Hope it helps.
