How many shells in US submarine?

As the title , I would like to know how many shells in various submarine of USA .

For example, S-class Gato and so on.

not sure what you are asking

by how many "shells" do you mean how many hull types or how many versions of each class of sub were there?

if so wikipedia has that info if you google it

it was my understanding when i was speaking to one of the devs a long while back that the stock game includes the historicly accurate standard ammo amounts that each sub would have carried.
