Default Re-inactment of the American civil war. Random battle

Every year, Copenhagen hosts a Kultur nat (Culture night) where theres a lot of historic and cultural activities around the city.
This video shows a battle between the american north and south during the civil war. Its not a particular battle.

Had some fun adding a few effects

Check out the canon at 11:08

Straying into McBee country, I see. He should be pleased. The crowd sound like they had a great time.

Those are the best battles...little or no casualties

You take the -"ck" out and you have McBe.

I approve of this thread.

You guys had a prett good turn out. I think that is the smallest re-enactment I've ever seen, but you gotta start some place.
I died laughing when I saw the kid in the nike tennis shoes. That was the first thing I saw. The video also proves a reeacting point, everybody loves the cannons. (despite what the Union infantry thinks)

Did they have any other Civil War stuff? Like camps?

I shot some some new video at my last battle. I'll see if I can find it and upload it.

Thanks for sharing and glad you had a nice time.

Thanks. You have to remember that this takes place in the center of Copenhagen, in a backyard...so not much space I lovedbeing so close to the action. That cannon was like a punch in the stomach!

If you evermake it out to the Western US any time soon (when we have a re-enactment going on) I can arrainge for you to shoot the gun. Now that is a rush. Consider it an open invitation.

SWEET!!
There was not that much else to see, but I still thought they put on a great show, considering this in the middle of the capital of Denmark, which is crammed to begin with.
The Kulturnat consists of several hundreds of other things to see, so its a great experience
