Default sonar

Is it possible that I can use the sonar on the surfase at full speed?

The commands:"report contacts,normal sweep,follow nearest sound contact,does not work.
Everytime I get the message "no sound contact".
When I use the hydrophone by myself I see contacts.
Is there something wrong with my mod list??

The hydrophone is implemented oddly.

There are multiple type of hydrophone available, with different ranges. There are two ways to simulate this:
1. Check the distance to the vessel, and if it is beyond the range of the hydrophone your boat is equipped with, ignore it, do not play the sound, and do not show the light on the hydrophone.
or
2. Just don't have the crew report he contact if it is beyond range, but still show it/play the sound on the hydrophone.

Yeah, they used option 2.
