Default Fine Then, Here I Am

I know with my last 2 or 3 threads, I forgot which few websites I fake my age on. This is one where I DON'T.

Well - clearing the air - this is who I am. Now nobody can accuse me of lying about everything.

My name is actually Anthony, and I'm 17 years old.

I drive a Ford Mustang GT that I recently got after selling my Mustang v6

I am trying and succeeding at losing weight.

I plan on going into the United States Air Force after high school.

In a year, I do plan to buy a rifle.

I swing dance all the time, I play the trombone, baritone, guitar, and a little bit of tenor sax.

I work - a lot. I have 3 jobs.

I actually do love to research and develop things for my own good.

My several friends of mine are authors and producers.

Anything else you want to know? Go ahead and ask

I have a question:

How long do you think it'll be before Tribesman arrives?

Nobody has, the accusation was that you are a seemingly compulsive liar (as has been clearly demonstrated) which therefore makes things you claim as true very very questionable.

Anthony, only YOU know the truth, no-one here will know, unless you get all of us into a meeting hall and present the facts, face to face.
Having said that, why is it so important for you to press home the truth that only you know?
Is it guilt? Is it attention that you want?
If it was me, i would not have bothered with this thread, for how can you truly convince everyone of your REAL situation?
This thread will do nothing to dispel any doubts that we have had before this thread.
In fact, it may further fuel another spam thread, or worse, shoot your credibility down the hill even further.
My post is not meant to offend you, or to hold you to task, it is my view only, and should be taken with an open mind.
All i can say is, you know the truth, there is no need to make an issue out of it.
Your future posts will hold all the weight of credibility that you perhaps seek from members.
Or they will not. Up to you.

Just the other day a board gaming friend of mine said he was on the Pro-Needer. Everybody else thought it was a scooter.

It actually stands for Professional Knee Bender. The stylish way to describe walking

Just saying any wheel is better than 2 legs. In truth he rode the bus too to get to our board gaming meetup.

Why bother faking age at all? You are who you are, I don't see why this is an issue.. Age can have little to do with wisdom.

I have to ask or wonder why you should care if someone on the internet thinks your lying or not. If you know something to be true, then you shouldn't feel like you have to prove anything to anyone on a internet message board, and if someone doesn't believe you, whatever, that's their problem.

From the rifle thread i figured it was about that.

How the hell can you afford the gas and insurance? Or is the old man taking care of that?

Well if your going into the chair force your definatly going to have to be in your height/weight requirements. From what i hear, getting in the AF now is actually compedative because of not lacking in recruits. So not only have you better fit the hieight/weight requirements, you'd better have the ASVAB scores to stand out from other people looking to join the military. If for example you have 100 people looking to join any branch of the military, the AF im guessing only takes the top 10 to 20 people with highest scoring aptitudes of that group.

Assuming you make it into the AF... WHY?! It's just going to sit there at your folks house. The earliest you could possibly posses a firearm, would be when you arrive at your first permanent duty assignment, assuming it's CONUS. At which point, unless your married and living in base housing, your firearm has to be checked in with the base armory. If you live in the barracks, your not allowed to have any firearms in your possession.

I did not think of that. Why buy a rifle that you will not be able to use hardly ever enlisted are not allowed to keep firearms in the dorms so you have to leave in base armory as has been stated with the SPs also your need for self defense drops drastically on a military base all you need then are you fists.

Over seas if you are in Germany I think you can keep a weapon in the armory but not much point as the only place to use is the Rod and Gun Club on base and they have plenty of guns that you can just rest and plink with you cant get a German hunting permit.Japan is a no go as is Korea.

If you want to join ANG or Reserves you better get your ass on the ball and enlist right now delayed entry because those two are very limited in the AF assuming they have any slots available.

Have you even spoken to a recruiter yet? I think not even back in the mid 1990's when I joined you had to enlist delayed entry if you where in HS other wise you might have to wait a whole year or more. Also if you want to become a pilot your best bet is to enroll in a college Air Force ROTC program completing that and taking the tests in your senior year to see if you even qualify to get into flight school and go from there. If start as an enlisted man you are adding 6 or 8 years to that time span assuming you get into OCS or Boot Strap. The other route is to serve at least 4 good years as an enlisted (though you'd need to have been an NCO to improve your chances) then enroll in the US Army program that takes enlisted men and trains them to be helicopter pilots as Warrant officers though that is gong to be very hard only the best of the best get to fly the AH-64.

In my day they if you had less than 50 overall ASVAB the AF did not even speak to you at all ideally you will need to have a high score in two categories like mechanical and electrical other wise they might pass on you nowadays. Some AF tech training is very hard (mine was and so where the other fields in my squadron) and they will not hold your hand if you do not study and you fail they will simply wash you back three times then you get kicked out.In some jobs like EOD you can not fail ever or they send you to another job(in that case because of the very high skill EOD requires your still usable else where.)another job that has a zero fail is boom operator(inflight refueling) the boom is controlled by an enlisted man that course you can not fail.

I am saying theses things because based on what you say compared to what you do I dont think you are going to make it in the military.I was already in the delayed entry program for the USAF at the same point(17) in my life as you I was already putting my plans into action.

P.S. You are going to have to contact an AF recruiter they wont call you I find your weight excuse to be bogus unless you are 400 pounds they
will allow in any branch a guy to be over or under weight by some degree. There where guys in my flight that are the same size that you appear
to be in that picture you posted a while back with the teacher in the pink room so stop making excuses or stories and man up or don't.
