Default SH5 is like a new game now. Do we need a revised manual?

A lot of mods to the game are now bringing new and fresh features to the game.

Some ( brilliant, lovely ) people like stoianm have made very good (and easy to follow) tutorials about how to use their new features. Would a fresh, new and revised game manual for ALL new features be a good idea?

We have compiled our mods ( e.g. M.opus ) so should we therefore do the same with the instructions...?

Would be quite a lot of work. But would be very helpful for new people old hands alike. Just an idea... What do you think?

Yes good idea.

A new and in-depth manual is what this game needs. But while the mods are constanly changing and being updated, there isn't much point as the manual would need to be re-written.

Once the game changes slow down, then a manual would be worth doing.

I normally don't have any problems installing mods in any game but there is little to no instructions available in step by step form for new people coming to download all these glorious mods. There should be a sticky at the top of the page for new people looking for mods, what to download, and how to install it. NO ACRONYMS, i repeat NO ACRONYMS IN INSTRUCTIONS, which are plentiful but useless without a google search for each one :0. Poor example of first response on forums of someone just reinstalled and heard there was some cool mods out there. - "Ya just download mom with dbsm and al install the first two with jsgmbe but then the other one just stick your game folder, then load up fml and your set for suicide." Bad bad bad.

This is my first post on the forum but most community run games have a group of regulars who are very helpful. Now before you say why don't you write one, i plan to once i figure out how to install all 50,000 of these mods successfully on an XP/vista/7 machine with step by step from putting the disc into the drive, to installing all of the mods.

That was more of a rant of the difficulties of installation and not so much a manual, which once im installed and ready to go, I'm sure i'll be in need of one.

Hello btw
