Default Funny Crewman names

Anyone else get a kick out the crewman naming system in SH4?
I have seen some pretty funny names from time to time.

Right now I have an Ensign whose name is:Bafford Hamilton Brown....
Bafford? I guess his parents had a sense of humor I like to think that maybe his drinking name is: "Bastard Brown" never heard of the name Bafford myself.

A also have a sailor whose first name is Fiztpugh.I think he must be one to avoid after he has had a meal.

I've gotten the impression that our Rumanian friends who developed the game hadn't had much prior experience with English, particularly American naming conventions. You see a lot of odd combinations. But, then if I had to come up with a bunch of fictional Japanese or Chinese names, I'd probably break all kinds of unseen rules.

I think they just modidifed the one used in SH3 because you see a lot of German names as well. I always like the ones where the guy has a super long name like John Jim Edward I. Smith. I think it kind makes the game more fun honestly.

Yeah I mean how many Russian could we come up with? They'd all be Boris,Ivan, and Vladimirs.

It's too bad they didn't include John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt. Then I could sink Japanese shipping while raucously singing...

John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt,
His name is my name, too.
Whenever we go out
The people always shout,
"There goes John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt!"

Yea funny..

Often wondered how many characters we have. I see some faces on some subs I don't on others. I know many companies use their own faces as models...

I dont seem to see very much variety in the actual modeled crewman.I think there are only 3 or 4 different guys for officer and enlisted and I see the same guy a lot just maybe one has a shark tattoo and the other one does not.. oh wait never mind those are the Fitzpughe twins they should look alike.

It may bug some but I kind of find this little quirk about the game pretty entertaining."Let the Japs try to get info out me if we get captured I'll tell my full name Robert George Bill T. Smith and tell em to stick it!" thats right John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt.
