[REL]Drakkhen20 TypeVIIB skin

ok this is my first skin, i finally got things straight on gamefront and figured out how to do all that stuff and here it is. its a base sh3 skin that i tried to make authentic from photos and some research. you wont really notice a diffrence in the gray paint but i also used authentic colors as far as the main paint. enjoy.

Many thanks!

Only for VIIB or also for VIIC?

Best regards.

i have one for the VIIC coming up. the diffrences is in the flooding vents and the exhuast ports. i did that to simulate the length because the VIIC is alittle longer than the B and it looks better for the C and i also redid them because i got tired of looking at a flat exuast pipe looking thingy with a little textured black smoke, really makes the boat unrealistic for me when looking at an angle. i still have to do some rivet work and the paint for it, it too is based for early war and thats why the exuast port is diffrent. the VIIB's exuast for the beginning of the war was shaped as in my skin from most of the photos i've seen. so when you start a new career i had that in mind. but as you know i've been back and forth with the enviroment mod i'm working on and this. i completed this skin like 4 months ago and never thought about releasing it because of all the other awsome skins that others had made, but i decided to say what the hay and put it out there for download. sorry about the long story. enjoy the skin.

oh to answer your question, thats up to you. its basicly a sh3 stock skin and sh3 shares that skin between the two( type VIIB and C)in the files. so yes.

Any screenshots you can post? I'm always looking for VIIB skins to try out.

See the "Hull" TGA for an idea of the skin.

Best regards.

Hi drakkhen20,

Good job!

I have a question.
Can you make this skin as U-307?
Thanks.

BUKER,
ok, do you know what color the darker part is. you do know this is a Type VIIC not a B, unless this is later war and they for some reason removed the net cutter on the nose. is this the only picture? are you wanting the conning tower to match also? because thats something else i'll have to dive into? just from this photo it looks like a winter camo. this might be managable but i'll need alittle more info before i say yes or no. i've been wanting a camo scheme to play around with.

Frankly it's not my idea!
I once met such a message, but then it was left unanswered ...
Not necessarily to do with 100% accuracy especially in the colors!
At least observe the contours.

There is still such a figure, but that's all there is ...

P.S. Of course, provided that you have a desire to do it!

megadan,
its a mod i'm working on as far as enviroments go. i have no release date as i am still working on it. i just run it when i can to test it because i havent tested it for long periods of time. i just did some work on it tonight and i finally got the atlantic part to satisfactory. but its basicly a compiled bunch of mods that i put together made by others. i started out with makmans enviros and now i'm using a diffrent one and playing with the colors.
