Time Compression Slowdown Contributors....

Having played the Silent Hunter since SH2, I know there are a number of reasons for slow down during TC. But am curious regarding other issues.

- Near land\ports.
- Contacts.
- Convoys.
- Computer specs.

Is there anything related to Mods\Mod Soup issues that could do this as well? Near specific convoy routes, etc, I may TC to a max of 1024, but it is normally in the 256-512 range. But going there I may TC as much as the high 3000s. If I had more time to play I would do this less, but I don't, so TC is my friend

Hi mate,

After i was speaking with sober i decided to set the TC in the main.cfg as here:

TimeStop=0
RealTime=1
LandProximity=1,32
CriticalDamage=1,32
CrewEfficiency=256
AirEnemyDetected=1,32
SoundEffects=8
CharacterAnim=32
FriendDetected=1,32
EnemyDetected=1,32
RadioReport=1,32
Particles=32
PrayState=1,32
HunterState=1,32
3DRender=32
Maximum=256,32

I like higher TC too, but i had best results with these setings.

I do not know if anything related to Mods\Mod Soup issues that could do this as well but i do not think so.

Best regards!

Thanks stoianm

I did a search earlier ( before I posted this thread ) and came across what you are speaking about.

I was more leaning toward something mod related. I don't know if it's a " brain
fart " , but TC seems to be a little choppier now than when it was when I first got it. Not much has changed with my PC, the only change has been
installing\uninstalling mods.
