Default Good sub fiction?

After perusing some iffy Amazon examples, I'm not sure what the good stuff is; I'd prefer something which is pretty realistic and hardcore, with a minimum of sea monsters or sideplot melodramas. I've already done Clancy of course.

Some Authors to look for...
H. J. Riker
Michael Dimercurio
Joe Buff
Patrick Robinson
R. Cameron Cooke
P.T. Deutermann (only 1 sub book, and 1 DDG book, the rest are mysteries)
Larry Bond

Iron Coffins by Herbert Werner. Wait; that's supposed to be non-fiction...

As readable fiction Alexander Fullerton wrote several centered on Royal Navy submarines in his Everard series including:

Patrol to the Golden Horn; and
Not Thinking of Death.

Edited to address the OP's request.

I just finished Larry Bond's Dangerous Ground. I really liked it. I wasn't sure I wanted the book at first, but I am glad I got it. I couldn't put it down.
