Default Hi I'm New and Have A noob questioN (SHIII)

Sorry to start with such a lame question. I am trying to do SHIII. I cannot seem to complete the 1st navigation mission. I achieve all goals and told as soon as I surface I am done. I surface. Nothing happens. If I hit 'esc' and quit mission that doesn't seem to be the right thing to do (or was it somehow?). I did some surfing and looking at FAQs:
1) Did in "exam" mode
2) Put engine at full stop

How do I in fact succeed in this silly mission? I've done it 4 times now and can't complete (or not sure if I have).

Sorry.

Yep, you want to hit escape and exit the "mission" once you get the message that you've completed your objectives.

It always throws me for a loop because if I remember correctly the popup when you do that asks if you want to *abandon* the mission, which makes it seem like you're doing something wrong if you answer 'yes' - but it's okay, because as long as you completed the objectives you're fine.

You can confirm your success as well once you get out of there and go back to the screens you started from, if you passed the test your "grade" will show up in the results.

Oh and welcome aboard!
