Default SH 4 Ending missions issue - Help

Ello all,

Does anyone know how to end a completed mission in SH4? Once you have completed all your objectives the next stage is to make your way home, but is there anyway you can exit the mission instead of making your way all the way back home?

You could do it in SH3, but for the life of me I cant seem to do it on this game. Its putting me off returning to the game as I have to spend all that time heading home.

Regards

Syn

Sadly, no. There is no way in SH4 to end the mission without sailing all the way back to port.

Default Broom??

At least they could have given us a broom graphic button so we could stick a broom up on the periscope, so when you get back to base you could give 'em the ol' "clean sweep"!!

Bugger, I was hoping it was due to me not taking my stupid pills.
I know the designers want to make it realistic but once you completed your mission all you want to do is to move on to the next, not arse about spending an hour of boredom sailing home.

Could be worse. At least you have time compression.

Imagine having to sail home in real time.

- did you have to return home?

Send a status report and get new orders... make a refit at nearest station if necessary...
Mission not completed until the unconditional surrender of our opponent!
