Default Enigma: Rising Tide question and SH5 Question

Hi everybody, Id like to start off by saying Im new here and have been really interested in SH5 lately. Even with what seems to be tons of bugs the mods seem to help work out kinks. Second, I didnt really know where to put this post so please dont flame if i put it in the wrong area thanks

But first question is about Enigma Rising Tide, I had it on my older computer and it worked fine, then we got a new one with windows 7. I installed it and every time I try to run the game, it always comes up with a screen saying I need to reboot for the install drivers to set in or whatever, my question is does it not work on windows 7? Id really like a sub game to play since its the only one I have.

And Secondly, to run SH5 smoothly, Im guessing you need one beast of a computer, because the graphics I have seen look extremely impressive, what would be minimum requirements for a smoothly run game? I can post up the computer specs im running on right now if need be.

Thank you all for any help

Put your specs here sh5 players will be able to tell you whether she'll run the game or die trying.

Can't help ya with Enigma and windows 7, I would of thought she would run fine on 7 the game had issues with Vista owners.

You might find help here. Enigma Rising tide gold edition is free now as well.

Your onboard gfx might be a problem.

Sry man should of mentioned it in previous posts: Your best shot is to put this up in the SH5 forum: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/forumdisplay.php?f=244

You should get an answer in no time

Welcome to subsim!

Thats what I was thinking as well but Idk. like I said, I can run Flight Simulator X on all medium to medium high settings with very minor framerate issues and only sometimes does that happen. as far as I know, next to Crysis, Flight Simulator X is the most graphics intensive computer game I know of.

However, Im sure I could get a beefed up computer for dirt cheap, I know a guy that could build me one that could run anything smooth except for Crysis(which he said was the most intensive game as far as CPU and graphics and etc.) for around 600$

Which brings me to another point. Computer companys have to be ripping us off big time. because you pay twice that for some computers for half the quality, its a conspiracy

About Enigma: it's not installed in "program files" is it? If UAC is enabled, that could certainly keep it from working properly.

I wouldn't venture towards SH5 with on-board graphics. It might work well enough if you have a decent enough chip, but most fall far short.

Never buy a PC from a company.
