SH4 - Navigation Stuck

Really odd thing happened when I returned to a Saved Game - I can't change the direction of the sub!

I get the voice indication and menu indication that the sub is changing course to what I have selected, but it doesn't change to that direction. I went back to an earlier save and the same thing happens!

Please ... does anyone have any ideas? Appreciate your help!

I had something similar (though not exactly the same thing) happen to me a while back but, in my case, I know what caused it. Anyway, give it a try and see if it works. Start the game and just before you change course, hit the Windows key on the bottom/right of your key board. Wait about 10 seconds and then try changing course. I'm not sure of the exact key so, if the Windows key doesn't do it. Repeat the steps using the key between Windows and CTRL. I'm not sure if this will do the trick but, it might be worth a try.
