Periscope problem SH5

Everytime I reload the game and i am on the surface the periscope is extended. Is there a fix for this.

It's a known bug. I don't know if anyone has tackled it yet, so the only advice I can give at this point is: Lower it!

yes there is a fix for it. My UIs mod and Reaper's UI mod tackles this problem.
