How so? Intel only rolled out the first 32nm CPU at the start of this year.

Even with old technology AMD provides a better product at a better price point at this moment.

Goes in cycles I guess. When I last bought a CPU in the end of 2006 AMD was completely **** and Intel's Core 2 Duos ruled the market. Now pretty much all the reviews seem to promote AMD.

edit: Come to think of it I've never had an AMD even though I've sworn "next time I'll get one". Every time I've been on the market for a new CPU or a new laptop Intel has provided the best bang for the buck.

That has always been AMD's strong point; price/ performance ratio. Nothing wrong with them.
