There is a value for the depth charges in the .sim for them called percussion or something like that. I am pretty sure that it controls the radius that it will cause the boat to shake/move. TDW has already edited the .sim for them in his AI mod, try posting there and seeing if he will make the adjustments in his mod.

Edit: Ah, the value I think we have to tweak is actually called impluse.

Well actually I think ubi did a decent job, I've had depth charges detonate right along side the bow and they spun the boat 20 or so degrees off course. Then again, I don't think the shake is that violent inside the boat, just kind of a hard shove...

yeah, having breaking lights, heavy shaking, a few panicked screams from the men -- when a charge is really close-- ..... even a little fire maybe... would be sooo atmospheric.

Are you guys still looking into this? I,ve been looking for a good mod that really makes the boat shake and have pipes burst and such . Also i really think Depthcharges should be able to damage internal systems insted of just affecting the hull integrety.

IRAI will really shake the boat when a DC explodes close. And it will definitely cause damage to systems

It shakes when hit by depth charges? I never saw this with this mod. It doesnt really shakes at least. What i would like to see it the shakes that we had in Aces of the deep.

I remember SH3 and SH4 used to scare the crap out of me when taking a blow from a DC. lights flickering, loud thunderous bang, glass breaking, violent inertia effect - almost knocked me off my feet.

In SH5 it feels like a goldfish swam into the side of the sub.

You'll be my hero if someone can recreate the SH3/4 experience.

been trying to but can't find the ID for the interior fore cam (main cam inside the boat). It's not in the files

It's not named fore cam that's why you can't find it.
There's many cam views in the boat now.
Each would need adjusted for a proper shake effect.
Would be a half arsed mod to adjust one only to be able to move to a new position
and see that the effect is not active.
