Cannot play DVDs on laptop or desktop
Well WMP does not play any DVD on either laptop or desktop.
Says there is not the appropriate decoder. I put on MS decoder checker and no MPEG-2 decoder found. WTF. Where have they gone? I watched DVDs a couple of months ago. Please help as nothing is working right now. |

Try KM player
http://kmplayer.en.softonic.com/ or VLC Media player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ What windows media player can't play, guaranteed the above players will. Otherwise if you don't want any other player you might need the right codecs I have found in the past K-lite codecs was spot on for windows media player issues. You can choose the right one for your os http://www.free-codecs.com/ |

That is frustrating, but Kiwi is right. I have four or five different players I downloaded for free, and what one won't play one of the others almost always will.
