The same thing that was with kids eighty years ago, swallowing goldfish at parties.

There's nothing wrong with what they're doing, except for the one freak who killed the neighbors' dog, but you get people with problems in every extended group. This looks harmless enough.

What else could you expect from emo's

Now seriously, I can understand their need to differ from the "normal" kids as I'm part of an alternative group myself (being a metalhead). But I really don't know why they just can't be part of the normal emo movement (in their case). It's not as if there are many of those.
