Funny ad poster i saw...

Thought you guys might like this.

I was at the local avionics shop upgrading a radio on the flight school airplane and there was a poster in the shop.

the focus of the poster was to get people to remove their old round gauges like this one..

and upgrade to a digital version of the same instrument like this...

this is the ad poster promoting the upgrade from round instruments to digital instruments

if you cant read the caption at the top of the poster due to glare it says

"Are you an airplane pilot, or a U-Boat captain."

when I saw this i read the caption and immediately thought of subsim and said to myself...

"Both"

Give me the old mechanical backups any day though

Digital is good, until something breaks down. Probably in the middle of a cloud.
