I admit I'd be curious to see some screenshots of what New York looks like in SH5.

Come back in sixty years.

Of course you probably won't see it in MFS either, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try.

Haven't been there yet in SH5, but I did visit San Francisco in SH4 and was very dissapointed, apart from the Golden Gate bridge it resembled any other port in the game with palm trees galore and a generic harbor. SH5 does seem to have much more varied ports though so it would indeed be interesting to see how detailed NY is this time around.

.

Interesting - I don't see Govenors Island at the Southern tip of Manhattan. Back then it would have been owned and operated by the ARMY and had an extensive battery on it. There's a fort at the foot of the VZ bridge too (fort Wadsworth) - surely you wouldn't have gotten in the Harbor during the day in RL --

is that with the settings on high?

Ok - this time I read the entire log. I get the fact that you were there at night - though the screen shots look more like daylight hours.

But the fact Governors Island isn't there off the tip of Manhattan in one of your distant shots makes me wonder where the topography data came from. not pointing a finger at you - just an unusual thing to be missing such a predominant fixture to New York harbor.

Since the Devs are in Romania?
(A land known for Night Walkers and Vampires)
Maybe they didn't visit New York because of all the Ultra Violet lites.
Which is a known killer of Vamps and Night walkers.

It's fine.
There's a bubble around the buildings so you can't actually hit them.
A bunch of my campaign files were deleted so now I'm in the "Pout Faze" but I can't wait for Operation Drumbeat!!!
