Default You CAN man the deckgun from the bridge!

It's possible to man the deckgun from the bridge without descending the stairs to the gun. Stand at the left side of Dieter in front of the compass. Now point the cursor(cross) a little above the compass and there the arrow of the deckgun emerges! Press and you're at the gun. Escape and you're back on the bridge. Didn't see that mentioned somewhere on the forum so.... shoot away!

Will try it out next time i load up the game.

I know you can do it with the AA guns.. but never could get it to work with the deck gun despite seeing the "action arrow".

Yeah I learned of this myself too, and was in the tutorial, but once I learned the binocular trick I haven't bothered to man it myself unless I need to know how much ammo is left. Which BTW is somethin we should beable to check on without manning it ourself.

But the crew is a much better shot with that thing than I am, so I let them handle it. Especialy since thay dont mind getting a bath while shooting it either.

You can do the same with the AA gun on VII A, from the conning tower.
