Just a quick note to say that, even with a computer specifically configured to play games without ever reducing the video settings, SH5 runs like molasses in January in FPS mode. I quit SH3 because at some point a computer upgrade gave me VISTA and SH3 wasn't happy. I went to the SH3 forums and found that there's a release of SH3 from UBISOFT that has the latest version and no starforce DRM. I immediately ordered it through SubSim, and then ordered the DVD of SH3 updates. Life's too short to arm wrestle a game's setting to get adequate performance, particularly an a hot computer. and I don't think I can say I really finished plumbing the depths of SH3. So, have fun with SH5, I don't begrudge pre-ordering SH5 through subsim, I appreciate all the help you've given me over the years, but I'll be back on the SH3 forums...

Give SH4 a shot. With OM the u-boats are a lot of fun.
Well, as much fun as you can have with the entire Royal Navy trying to kill you. ![]()
