Now if Ubisoft really wanted to be helpful you'd be able to sync your JSGME MODS folder between your different computers.
'Course they'd screw that up too. It's a pain to have to keep copying the MODS folder onto a USB drive and move it onto my desktop when I come home for a couple days. Then I have to copy it back to my laptop (if I make/add any new ones) before I leave for the road again. Cdr |

Hello,
just curious since i returned my unplayable copy - Is a new official patch automatically downloaded via your PC/drive, and forced to install ? So that it will scew up some mods ? Greetings, Catfish |

No, you are alerted and given time to uninstall.

Hello,
ok, thanks because with this WW1 flight sim "Rise of Flight" every patch is forced to install as soon as you start the sim. B.t.w. this is the sim that introduced the whole online requirement crap, but it is at least positive to hear that UBI does not enforce the install of new patches .. Greetings, Catfish |

I own Rise of Flight. Patches are not forced installs, you have the chance to cancel and back out if there is anything you want to revert to stock.
Unless, by force install you mean you are unable to play the game until it's patched, then I misunderstood you. I believe SH5 is similar in this way as well.

It's 2am here, I just hopped off a plane, so I haven't given this any thought, but if people have any suggestions on how JSGME itself could make syncing between computers easier, I'm all ears.
