Default I give up. SH5 uninstalled

I have been playing SH5 for a while now. I really tried to give it a chance. Had installed some great mods (TheDarkWraith UI mod, etc). Plus released some of my own mods for it. But I have now decided to uninstall it. It's just way, way too buggy and unfinished. The rpg elements are also epic fail in my opinion. If I want rpg, I will play Oblivion. The UI and crew system is a complete disaster. Having to walk around the U-boat is fun at first, but after the novelty wears off, it becomes a major pain in the butt. Besides pretty graphics in SH5, I see no other reason to play it. Vanilla SH3 and SH4 are way, way better. Maybe in the future I will reinstall, but as of now, I'm am finished with SH5. Back to SH3 and SH4 for me.

Ok, go for it.

VANILLA
, (no patches or maybe 1.1 only) I wonder how much time it will take before you uninstall them.

I grow tired of you always blindly defending SH5. You don't like any negative criticism of SH5 from other posters, do you?

I don't play them vanilla. I play them heavily modded. I just didn't think it would be fair to compare SH5 to a heavily modded SH3/SH4. Vanilla SH3/SH4 game mechanics, UI, and other features compared to vanilla SH5 are still way better in my opinion. But if all you care about is pretty graphics, go for it.

Good point, I know the unfinished state of the game is somewhat frustrating.
You call 'somewhat frustrating' criticism of SH5? Understatement of the year.

I won't argue with you. I may come back to SH5 later if it ever gets completed (without having to pay extra for 'add-ons').

No game should ever have to be modded; we should have OPTIONS designed within that give us the ability to turn stuff ON or OFF. SH5, DRM and the "lets wait for patches and mods" attitude are BS. A game like this should be developed with the subsim community's input. MSFS did it this way over the years with the flightsim community and look how great their last game ended up. But it appears that their is little DEMAND for great PC simulations any longer. The MTV kiddy arcade CONSOLE revolution is upon us which has contributed to the DEATH of PC gaming. Ohhh well, it was fun while it lasted--RIP hardcore simmers!

I respect you opinion. But i dont understand why everybody is so bugged of my the bugs in sh-5. I also experience the bugs but they dont effect me to the point it becomes unplayable . I can deal with most of the bugs by simply save and reload . Some are indeed anoying but they can be dealth with with a couple of patches. The rest of the bugs and stuff liken the UI i solve with the great mods that people made.
