Yeah, great isn't it?
Just popped in to see if there was any patch news, and found 5 new mods I want to test out.
I foresee a great future for this game.
Mucho kudos to everyone who has posted a mod on here.
Great work everyone

I feel the same way digging through the files. Even if I never actually play the game again, I'll get my money's worth.

truth be told I've haven't even played a single mission or even started a campaign! SH5 is just a testing platform for me currently

I finished the tutorial and thought I'd figure out how to add hats to my crew before I started the campaign. Got a little sidetracked.

I hear ya. I still play SH3 and 4 and once we are done modding I will play SH5 more. I'm working on finding the animation files for the explosions so we can make them more realistic and user friendly.

particles.dat and materials.dat in \data\Library. There are also some other files they are using for effects. Search the text file Zones.cfg and look for the lines 'Effectx=' where x is a number. The text after the equals sign is the effect to play when the compartment receives x % damage ( which is the last number after the comma after the text)

Default Feel the Love!

I would like to say a Big Thank You to everyone who has uploaded mods on the site.

Can't say I've really played the game itself in extended sessions yet, because I've been too busy trying out all the improvements!

I, for one, am one of the few people that are glad they have bought SH5 (judging by the amount of critical postings) , and I think and really hope that it will go from strength to strength.

Not having any problems connecting at all now either (hope I'm not speaking too soon...)

Reading this site has been as much, if not more, fun/exasperating/amusing than playing the game itself IMO.

Thanks and regards to all contributors and Neal for this site.
