I'm started a patrol but I did not received any specific coordinates or patrol grids to go to. Are all the patrols are like free roaming ? Thanks.

There should be a marker on the map, click that
![]() Unless you dident 'accept' a mission before shipping out.

My problem is: I can't find any mission markers! It's July 1940 and I ended my mission in Lorient (saw just in time that the base marker had moved). But the briefing is still about the invasion of Poland and there are simply no missions to select

In port I did not chose to listen the mission briefing instead I chose "I'm ready to go out on patrol" or smth like that. Then the windw poped up asking do I realy want to go out at sea without choosing a mission ? I chose yes and so I'm on a free roam.. Does it has to be so ?

![]() No you will just have to 'role play' it and make belive that Bdu gives you some orders, you might get some convoy contacts while sailing the deep blue so that could give you something to do. ![]() To put it in a nutshell if you dont choose some orders no orders will be given.
