[TEC] Comprehensive Manual TDC Videos

Part 1 is ready. It lays the ground work for the future videos. I think this video is a must to understand before moving on. It's not really techincal. Some of you uber detail grognards may even have issue with some things. And believe me I already know what you might say, and i already understand it. But for the sake of simplicity and the normal attack profile.. It's simply observational.. and how to use it to your advantage.

Summary:
Instead of giving you a 6 step method to killing a ship, im going to give you the no frills skinny on how to make the TDC work for you, and then let YOUR brain do the work. Your kill rate will increase.

Had to upload it in two parts due to YouTube's 10min length limit

Next parts will be even more detailed, and show a myriad of situations to solve & ways to gather the data.

I have no nomograph mod installed.. are you talking about the 360 bearing plotter?

I can't recall where i got it from. Someone posted a link to french forum or something and i downloaded it.

Nicely done Gutted, your method of explaining the knowledge required instead of just doing thing a certain way is a great idea.
Thanks for posting will be of great help to those starting and those that have been doing things in a set way.

Nicely done video. It was a good TDC refresh lection for me. You very well pointed out what really matters: SPEED!

Hi Gutted have you seen the latest Old StyleSHControls_1_3_0_TheDarkWraith.
Looks like some new tutorials needed to cover the latest full contol methods

.
Was half way through doing some vids, but think now i'll scrap those and play with the above foe awhile.

Yeah i have them. I've been following its progress, but im not going to switch completely until alot of the kinks and aesthetics are ironed out.

For one the TDC dials placement is not ideal IMO, and i actually preferd the "newer" torpedo control panel (a spread dial was all that was needed). WIth the old style controls, i noticed the doors dont automatically open anymore, and toggling the hotkey didn't seem to open them.
