Hi,
There isn't one! but the functionality IS in the game. I use this (credit goes to someone else on these forums who i can't remember). Go to your silent hunter installation on your HDD and navigate to commands.cfg (on my PC, C:\ubisoft\silent hunter 5\silent hunter 5\data\cfg) and go down to CMD 130, it reads [Cmd130] Name=Get_depth_under_sub_keel Contexts=1,15 MnID=0x3F250005 add [Cmd130] Name=Get_depth_under_sub_keel Contexts=1,15 MnID=0x3F250005 Key0=0x4E,s,"SHIFT N" This makes "Shift N" give you the required info, also the navigator will tell you the depth as the sound files and lip synching are already in the game Hope this helps Kaleun |

THANK YOU!!!!!
I cant believe they left out that command, like, if its in the game, why leave it out?? Plenty of free hotkeys, as the one you suggested there. Some things are so ridiculous, why not leave out "dive!" hotkeys aswell? |

Thank you! I'm going to make the update right now. Again, I'm a bit miffed at the lack of controls that are being offered! All I need is someone to fix the return to course like this and I'll be happy!

Unfortunately this feature can also be added to the long-long list of "Broken SH5 Features". It is not precise. It reported 34 meters below keel when I was sitting on the seafloor. Although visually I could see some space under the u-boot, I couldn't dive further.
Sometimes (in >1km depth?) it doesn't report anything. |

two things:
1. You can open the commands.cfg file with notepad by choosing from the list 2. suggest also save original Commands.cfg as Commands-old.cfg and then create new one with new extra line - easy to go back if need to do so.
