Operation Weserübung?

..Or as I like to call it, "The time where the Royal Navy took a vacation to the west" since during the whole time it was available as a mission, I didn't meet a single ship around Norway, nor in the bays leading to Narvik. I even reloaded my game three times and performed different patrol routes, doing the standard thing like dive and listen for sonar contacts periodically etc, yet... nothing! Not even friendlies or neutrals. Zip! Zilch!

Is it just my version that does this or is anyone else experience this?

Fortunately I'm now into the Happy Times and find contacts a plenty in the atlantic, but this was indeed a slight let-down in my otherwise great enthusiasm for SH5.

I ran into a convoy of a dozen transports with escorts as well as several single ships in that region.

Couldn't even sink them all since I ran out of torps/shells. Had I known about your problem I would've sent a few your way.

Sorry to hear that. I ran into a heavily guarded convoy in Narvik bay and was pursued by three DDs. About an hour later, a German task force of two heavy cruisers and a few DDs arrived, so I came out of silent and headed straight for it bringing the DDs with me. One minute later they, and the convoy, were toast.

I was planning on posting a few pics later. It was absolutely wild. Heavy seas and at night. Best f-ing SHV experience I've had so far.
