Ship recognition manual

So besides range calculation, whats the purpose of the recognition manual i cant see the lenght and the keel draft to set magnetics under the keel. Am i missing something?

The draft is actually shown on your torpedo control panel. You can see it on the depth setting meter.

I had the same problem. I still prefer the old style recognition manual because it has an estimated tonnage of the target as well.

Perhaps a modder can come to our rescue.
